After two days of windsurfing sailing over 50 miles! It was time for a change today, so when the day started bright and sunny we packed our pastries, made a flask and headed to our favourite spot at The Ferry for breakfast avoiding the busy Art on the Prom!!! With the run of northerly winds we seem to have lost a lot of shingle from the bar and the beach :( We sat in the shelter of the rocks and enjoyed our breakfast and the lovely scenery! We even managed to collect a small bag of coal before heading to the Sailing club where we saw Mark Swain and Chris Phillips who were about to head down the coast in a cat :) It was then along the River Deben path to Kings Fleet but instead of turning off here we decided to head towards Ramsholt where a large drilling platform had been positioned in the mud drilling for something??? (Can anyone tell us what they are doing?) We turned off before Kirton Creek and came out at Falkenham Church and stopped for a snack before carrying on to Kirton, then Trimley and home :) A nice 13 mile bike ride and then home to do a few jobs around the house!
